Participants will explore various types of powders, their unique properties, and how these properties influence their behavior in mixtures, focusing on achieving homogeneity and stability. The course includes practical, hands-on training where participants operate different types of mixers and blenders, gaining insights into their specific applications, benefits, and constraints.
Course Outcomes: By the end of this course, participants will be comfortable with basic tablet and capsule formulation, particularly focusing on direct compression techniques. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of the common manufacturing issues, learning how to identify and address their root causes effectively.

Michael has a proven track record in training global teams, supporting startups, and providing critical services like troubleshooting, risk assessments, and formulation optimization. His leadership has greatly influenced the industry, empowering teams to effectively manage complex manufacturing systems. In addition to his practical experience, Michael has authored numerous articles and white papers in industry publications and recently contributed as a steering committee member for the 8th edition of the Tableting Specification Manual (TSM).
